Alcohol Policy

Gifted by Jane is committed to complying with all applicable New South Wales liquor laws relating to the sale and delivery of gifts containing alcohol.

Gifted by Jane operates under the exemption provided for the sale of alcohol included as part of a genuine gift hamper or gift arrangement. A liquor licence is not required where alcohol is supplied as part of a genuine gift in accordance with NSW legislation.

Genuine Gift Requirements

Alcohol sold by Gifted by Jane is supplied strictly as part of a genuine gift hamper, gift box or gift arrangement and is subject to the following conditions:

• Alcohol included within a gift is purchased from a licensed retail liquor outlet.
• A maximum of two (2) litres of alcohol may be included in any individual gift.
• Gifts containing alcohol are packaged and presented as genuine gifts.
• Alcohol cannot be purchased separately and must form part of a complete gift arrangement.
• Gifts containing alcohol may only be delivered to another adult and cannot be delivered to the purchaser.
• Gifts containing alcohol cannot be delivered to the same location where the alcohol was originally purchased.
• Gifts containing alcohol are delivered only between the hours of 7am to 7pm.

Recipient Requirements

The recipient of an alcohol-containing gift must be 18 years of age or older.

Gifted by Jane reserves the right to request valid photo identification upon delivery to verify the recipient's age.

Alcohol-containing gifts cannot be left unattended, delivered to minors, or accepted by a person who appears intoxicated.

If age verification cannot be completed, or if the recipient is under 18 years of age, the delivery will not proceed.

Order Restrictions

By purchasing a gift containing alcohol, customers acknowledge and agree that:

• They are 18 years of age or older.
• The gift is intended for another adult aged 18 years or over.
• The gift is being purchased as a genuine gift and not for their own consumption.
• They have provided accurate recipient details to facilitate lawful delivery.

Gifted by Jane reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or amend any order that does not comply with New South Wales liquor legislation or this Alcohol Policy.
